But before that, this is my design, very simple one...i just wanna show how the rabbit kinda spinning after slipped on banana peel...
no need for you to add more keyframe and change the position of the rabbit...u can simply change the Rotate to CCW and set 3 as times for rabbit to rotate
easy pizzy right...
Macam mana nak buat Bunny tu pusing nampak realistik sikit? saya tak reti...mintak tunjuk ajar...TQ...
Click HERE to see her design...
So. in order to answer her question i made this one myself...hehe...
I know i know very simple one...but i want you guys to think and consider about these 2 things...
Is it the setting of the keyframe OR the rabbit picture that kinda flat which actually contribute to the problem?
Below is the keyframe setting for my design...
Think about this ok...and share your thoughts here ok...
Thanks for the quick tips on the CCW tips, Ieja. You're a life saviour. Hehe.
ReplyDeleteIn my humblest opinion, it's quite cumbersome to make the rabbit appears any more realistic than what you already illustrated there Ieja. Unless, the illustrater himself as he can re-draw the 3D version of the rabbit so that it appears realistic from the viewer's perspective.
I believe the problem relies on the image used (the rabbit) for it is a 2D version.
Or... I could be wrong.
Any other views?
Upps, life saviour...hahaha...
ReplyDeletei just share whatever i know from Dr Zaidatun...
So class, please share your opinions and prove that Norzie is actually wrong...haha...
Come on...

ReplyDeleteWOW... really?
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
Then, that leaves us with the only option - the keyframe setting.
So, do you care to share what changes have you made to the setting as I hardly see any difference between Syakira's and yours.
I think Norzie is right..that bunny is 2D picture..That's the reason it's not so realistic..
ReplyDeleteSo utk jwb soalan ieja, the rabbit picture that kinda flat which actually contribute to the problem.
Tapi mungkin setting of the keyframe boleh membantu untuk kurangkan tempoh masa bunny npk flat..(jadi penonton tak berapa perasan masalah tu)
Ini pada pendapat sy la..
Haha..masih pening2 ^-^!
Ok, I think better I give you guys the answer...haha...
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw Syakira’s design, I noticed that the rabbit tends to disappear for a second when it makes the turn... You saw it too right?
Then I wonder how on earth can I make the rabbit image still there even if it makes the turn...
And then, I post my first design on that...you are right Norzie when you said that u hardly seen the differences...I did that on purpose...now, don't get mad with me...haha...
After that I ask you guys to think about these 2 things:
Is it the keyframe setting OR the 2D image which cause the problem?
Ok now, I give u the link so that u can download the .fla files and see the changes that I have made at the keyframe...
If Syakira can provide hers too pun lagi bagus...U can make the comparison there...
1. https://sites.google.com/site/janedoeflash/flash/rabbitwalking1.fla?attredirects=0&d=1
2. https://sites.google.com/site/janedoeflash/flash/rabbitwalking2.fla?attredirects=0&d=1
Let make give little hints here:-
1. Pay a close attention to
a) Rabbit walking 1.fla – frame 14-16
b) Rabbit walking 2.fla – Frame 15-20
See what changes I made there...use your mouse and play with the pink slider yg kat timeline tu...and play the movie also to zsee the effect...
I didn’t really give you the answer, right? Haha…check that one first, tell us what u see,
then only I give my final answer on that...
ok tak nie?
this is my .fla file..

ok...let us see it together...and make the comparison..and come out with the conclusion...hehehe... tq syakira...
ReplyDeleteThis is Syakira's design after modification...
ReplyDeletehttps://sites.google.com/site/janedoeflash/flash/syaq_after_modify.fla?attredirects=0&d=1
there are 2 problems actually...guess what are they...
i'm smiling alone when i learn about the second one...
ieja..sy x dp upload lg ke flash sy ke dlm blog. mbe over limit kot..
ReplyDeleteermmm over limit?
ReplyDeleteberapa besar size file tu?
hari sabtu sy ada kat library...kalau boleh dtg la...boleh sy tgk2 kan...
2 la sy tnya kak masrulhuda. die kata mbe over limit..
ReplyDeletearini ad karnival pendidikan.xdpt g UTM...ish.
Hi Eija, I hope that I am not too late to try to answer your questions here. Sorry, didn't realise about it earlier. hehe
ReplyDeleteI have looked at your rabbitwalking1.fla and rabbitwalking2.fla files. Then, I tried to compare them with Syakira's before and after modification.
Let me try to give my amateur opinion k:
Problem 1: Disappearing Act.
a) Rabbit walking 1.fla – frame 14-16
The rabbit disappears for a second (frame 15) before it turns. Hence, the unrealistic turning as the image is a 2D image. The same goes with Syakira's before modification, her rabbit also disappears for a second at frame 15.
So, I guess, maybe to avoid this, you insert a keyframe at that "180 degrees" turning so that the image stays to avoid the awkward disappearing. I think this is because when we put motion tween: let's say from frame 12 to frame 18 (refer to rabbitwalking1.fla, it automatically makes the rabbit disappear at that particular turning as to change the direction of the 2D image.
b) Rabbit walking 2.fla – Frame 15-20
When you put a keyframe at that "disappearing" frame (frame 17), it kind of forces the image to stay. This makes the turning appears more realistic as viewer can see (for a second), the turning action, instead of ready-to-turn(frame 16), MIA (frame 17), re-appear and already turned (frame 18).
Problem 2: The degree position
You made some changes at the degree position at each keyframe that you inserted during the turning to make the turning appears more realistic, just like Dr Zaida taught us.
That's what I gathered from my quick observation. Or... am I still misleaded? hehe
what a comprehensive reflection, Norzie...
ReplyDeleteYES YES and YES...u got it...
For problem 1: yes, the image disappear due to the motion tween, just like what you have explained above...that's the technique to apply if wanna avoid the problem ---> the keyframe setting
For problem 2: well, actually i made the changes at the 2D picture itself...
if you see, i'm not sure at what keyframe (i cant view the file coz this PC has got no flash installed), the bunny pic is like a straight line...so, what i did was that, i gemukkan that bunny using free transform tool...then, of course u will see that the bunny tend to be very big in size, still lagi tak gemuk malah bertambah besar straight line nyer...
then, bila bunny tu betul2 dah besar, baru tarik di setiap sisi transform tool tu untuk gemukkan pic tu...
and then i change a little bit the bunny position...
that's why i said, 2D is not the real problem...u can still get the real turn by using just 2D picture...
thanks Norzie...u have a very sharp observation and critical in thinking...
sure boleh jawab mock-up test nanti...hehehe...
well done...
thanks for the explanation, as usual, u teach us something. tq ;)
